Robson Street Shopping

Davie Street

Davie Street is the heart and soul of Davie Village, Vancouver’s LGBTQ neighbourhood. Stroll along the Rainbow Crosswalk and visit the wide array gay-friendly businesses, restaurants, and bars that dot the street.

Granville Entertainment District

Canada Place

Distance from hotel: 1.5 km / 49.2882 N, 123.1158 W
Soaring nearly 270 feet above the waterfront, Canada Place is host to the Vancouver Convention Centre (among other buildings), and is also a cruise ship terminal. It also features exhibits, a walking tour, and the exciting FlyOver Canada flight simulation ride.

English Bay Beach

Distance from hotel: 1.6 km / 49.2850 N, 123.1430 W
Bordered on the east by the Stanley Park Seawall, this charming beach is a much-loved Vancouver attraction. Play a game of sand volleyball, rent a kayak, or participate in the famous Polar Bear Swim if you happen to be in the area on New Year’s Day.

Stanley Park

This scenic, sprawling public is perhaps best known for its seawall, which welcomes thousands of walkers, bikers, joggers, and rollerbladers daily. The park also includes lakes and beaches, as well as the Vancouver Aquarium. 

Yaletown

Distance from hotel: 1.8 km / 49.2757 N, 123.1200 W
Few neighbourhoods have experienced regrowth as significant as Yaletown; over the course of 30 years, it has transformed from an industrial area dominated by rail yards and factories to one of Vancouver’s most vibrant districts. High-rise apartment buildings coexist in harmony with spacious parks and marinas.

Vancouver Aquarium

The nation’s largest aquarium offers a world of wonder for guests of all ages, with a range of fascinating galleries, interactive exhibits, and fun events – as well as an extensive conservation and research program.

Gastown

This historic district is home to some of the city’s best boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and bars. It’s also the site of the famous Gastown Steam Clock, which is operated completely by steam power (and features whistles instead of bells).

Once heavily industrialized, Granville Island has recently become one of the city’s most popular entertainment destinations. Spend a day exploring all that the island has to offer – from the farmer’s market and the marina to Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
